Hi everybody, I haven't made anything today but have been going through my files and still have quite a few cards to add that I had made before I started my blog. The following two are cards I made about a month ago for a friend who was moving house, I decided to go with the purple one for my friend.

The image of the next one i bought from cuddly buddly and the flowers and rosette wer made from my Cricut imagine.

Thanks for passing by and looking and thank you for any comments made.

Flower Power

Well I thoroughly enjoyed making this very girly card, the sun has disappeared here in sunny Spain! so it was the ideal time in between cooking a roast for Sunday dinner and getting my Cricut imagine going.

I have coloured the image with pro markers and all of the papers and embellishments are from the Cricut Loris garden cartridge.

I am entering this card into Joanna Sheens challenge - Flower Power.

I am pleased to say I came in the top 3 for this card in the Joanna sheen challenge Flower Power

A little Bird

I made this card today for the BlogaDoodle  challenge (Ribbons and Bows), I bought the image a few months ago and this is the first time I have used it, its called A Little Bird by Neighbourwood (Holy cuppleditch).  The backing paper, ribbons and embellishments are from stash.

Thank you for dropping by.

Come out and play

I have been a bit busy the past couple of days but I found time to sneek in a couple of quick cards.  The image I chose for yesterdays card is from Mo's digital pencil site called come out and play.  I love this image it fits most little girls I think that are tomboys when playing but little ladies when they want to be.  Thanks for stopping by and looking.

Distress ink card

I needed to make a mans card as I have loads of ladies cards but only one or two mens cards.  I really enjoyed making this card but got in an awful mess with the ink and had to scrub my hands a bit to remove it all.  It was great fun to do  so i may make a few variations of this card to add to my collection.

I used Tim Holtz Distress inks spiced marmalade, evergreen bough, milled lavender and iced spruce using the Wrinkle free distress ink technique. The stamp I used is also a Tim Holtz and it makes a great mans card I think. The tassley bits were in my stash, ooh I musn't forget the backing paper which I stamped but I cant remember the name or make of the paper.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Pansies

I sat and made a few flowers yesterday from cricuts flower shoppe cartridge which led me onto this card.  I love making the flowers up once they are cut out its very relaxing.

The backing paper is by Papermania from the Rich Purple Designer pack.
I have had the stamp ages and i have no idea of the makers name unfortunately.  The shapes used for the stamp are cut from the cricut imagine and I coloured it in with Tim Holtz Distress ink - evergreen bough.
The flowers are from the flower shoppe cartridge (I mentioned above).
everything else is from stash.

BOLD AND BRIGHTS CHALLENGE

This is the first card I have made in a couple of weeks.  We had Claire our daughter visiting us for a week and had a fabulous time, it has taken me a week to get back into the swing of things since they went back as we always miss them and the grandchildren when they go.  The weather was a bit windy when they were here but we still managed to get out and about every day.
I chose to use a stamp n doodle image (puddle jumper) for this challenge it is my favourite image at the moment. The paper I used was from stash, I think it is one that Claire gave me some time ago the ribbon is papermania and the brad is by My Minds eye.  I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities die Fleur De Lis as the backing for the digi stamp.
Thank you for looking.

I have entered this card in the Blogadoodle challenge.

Lets see some Embossing

I made this card very quickly for the Blog a Doodle challenge this week as I have my daughter Claire coming to stay tomorrow and have been a bit preoccupied getting things ready.

The stamp I used is a clear mini stamp called Birds and Flower Burst by Dimension Crafts, the embossing powder used for the stamp is Pastel Lilac by Personal Impressions and for the border I used a Martha stewart punch.  The flower was made from cricut cartridge flower shoppe ( I think you may be seeing a lot of that cartridge used in the future)
Oh I nearly forgot the feathers they were from stash and I made a terrible fluffy mess using them, still it makes a change from having glitter everywhere.
