Swirls

It was San Juan here in Almerimar last nigh which we go to every year San Juan I have added a link if you are interested in its meaning.  The atmosphere was electric and even more so seeing as Spain beat France in the football.  We were walking along the beach at midnight in shorts and t-shirt eating an ice cream (magic).   We just wished that our daughters and families could have been here to enjoy it too.

I had a video link with my sister on Friday and she showed me how to make these beautiful flowers
so I just had to use them on a card I was just starting for a challenge.

Ethan's Banner

I made this Banner for my daughter Helen to give to a friend who had just had a little boy (named Ethan).Helen gave me an idea of the colours she would like. Every thing about this banner is made by using my Cricut imagine, the shapes are from the Cricut stack and all of the embellishment are made by using Cricut Nursery tails cartridge and the Lori's garden cartridge. Sorry I am not very good at explaining how I made my projects but hopefully I wil get better at that!

I then had to post it to UK from Spain which was a worry and Helen and I decided it would be easier if she strung it together with the ribbon of her choice.  I will add a photo at a later stage when that has been done.  I thoroughly enjoyed making this banner for a little boy as it is totally different to Elena's.

My eldest daughter Claire and I made my Grandaughter Elena a Banner for her bedroom for Christmas which was a fabulous project for us to plan and make together you can see Elena's banner on this link.Elena's Banner
