Exciting News

I am very excited that i have been invited to be a  Guest Designer on the Whoopsi Daisy Team     I love their Digi Images so it couldn' be better.  I submit my first post as a GD on the 20th of August and can't wait (although i must say i am a little nervous). This weeks challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy is   Christmas in July , pop over to take a look. I won't be able to take part in this Challenge, unless Elena and I (my 7yr old granddaughter) find some time to do a bit of making. My daughter and family are visiting for the next two weeks, so i will be a bit busy.
Well i am off now to enjoy some quality family time as i haven't seen Helen,Jamie and Elena since January and can't wait to see them this evening.

Bye for now and look forward to commenting on all of your blogs soon.

So Sweet

Good Morning all hope you are all having a nice day.  My latest card came to me the other night when i couldnt sleep so the image was coloured in at about 3am but i couldnt get around to making it until this morning.  I had a busy day yesterday out for coffee in the morning with friends, lunch at Mario's (mmmm) then i made a visit to Corte Ingles.  I wanted to buy a nice summer dress but they were all a bit short for me and i couldnt find a nice skirt so was a bit disappointed.  What i did find though that made up for that is the most gorgeous pair of flip flops with Swarovski crystals in them so i am now the proud owner of them (i just keep looking at them as they are so sparkly).  Anyway enough of my ramblings on to the important stuff of my latest makings.

Baseball

I haven't really been into  crafting or (making as my granddaughter Elena would say) for a few days now, everything I touched ended up in the bin so I left well alone.  I was just trying out a different paper to colour on, which is how this card got started really.  It works out quite good for my grandsons Birthday in November, so unless I make a better card this one is in line for Stephen.  It’s very hot here in Spain now so moving about is very slow and sitting still in a cool room making is definitely better.

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges

Totally Papercraft Friday Challenge          Totally Papercraft Friday Challenge - Lots of layers

Keep Smiling

My daughter Claire is on the DT for StampnDoodle and this week as her entry she made a digital card, which got me thinking as I used to do a lot of digi scrapbooks a few years ago and loved it.  I was going to do a very serious classical page but I found the little character that you see on this page and he just made me smile so the page is based around him (I hope he makes you smile too)

I have had all these digi embellishments for a few years now so I'm hope I have got all of the creators of them right.

Background paper by - SAS (feeling welcome)
Frame by SAS i think
Swirl by pixiequeen
Ribbon at the bottom SAS feeling welcome
Smiley face and Tree Bvan Esch - forever friends
Dragonfly by mh51

I would like to enter this page into the following challenge

Elegant Lady

Good evening all, it's been a beautiful day here In Almerimar very hot but breezy which has helped us keep cool.  I wasn't going to do any making today but after all my jobs were done and dinner cooked and eaten I had a bit of time to make this card.

The backing paper and image was a freebie from card making magazine that i bought last year when i was back in the UK.

I made the flower with the backing paper and of course used my favourite corner die of the moment (making memories Macarena)
Ribbon and peel offs from stash.

I havent found a challenge for this card yet but will keep looking.

Thank you for passing by and for any comment made.
